Ri.Cerca

The fireplace in the Hall of Coats of Arms hosts the video installation “RI.Cerca.” It is an original episode from the BODYLANGUAGE series of audiovisual works, composed for the Museum and dedicated to research. The work invites reflection on the noise and complexity of contemporary life and reality.
The constantly changing audiovisual flow offers a complex and layered experience and challenges the conscience of those who want to decode the text, its content and meaning, seeking strategies and expending energy in an attempt to find meaning.

The author

Andra Carlotto, audiovisual artist, live performer, musician, filmmaker, and music therapist, was born in Aosta in 1976. A “musician of images,” he focuses his work on exploring what he conceives as “extended listening,” or the creation of immersive and experiential audiovisual mechanics and ecosystems that allow for poetic, perceptive, personal, and social reflection on the internal and surrounding complexity of our lives.

In search of super-adapted organisms

Furthermore, starting October 31, 2025, thanks to the support of two microscopes, visitors will be guided in the search for and live observation of aquatic microorganisms, including tardigrades. The experience will be available every Friday for those who purchase admission tickets for the 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. visiting times.
