Orbiting Station. Contemporary Trajectories of Expression
Resorts: Châtillon
Castello Gamba – Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art
23 July 2026 - 18 October 2026
Under a Sky of Stars. Art Exhibitions and Cultures of the Celestial Space is a multi-venue exhibition project that brings together art, science, technology and visions of the future, exploring contemporary transformations of the cosmos and of sky observation. Through artworks, installations, talks and in-depth events, the exhibition involves several locations across the Aosta Valley, conceived as stations within a single cultural journey.
Orbiting Station. Contemporary Trajectories of Expression
At the heart of the multi-venue exhibition, Castello Gamba explores the relationship between contemporary art, the universe and technological innovation. The works investigate light, space, perception and cosmic trajectories, symbolically transforming the castle into an orbiting station dedicated to contemporary creativity. The exhibition begins with Massimo Uberti’s permanent installation Orbita and brings together leading figures of contemporary Italian art.
