Under a Sky of Stars. Art Exhibitions and Cultures of the Celestial Space is a multi-venue exhibition project that brings together art, science, technology and visions of the future, exploring contemporary transformations of the cosmos and sky observation. Through artworks, installations, talks and in-depth events, the exhibition involves several locations across the Aosta Valley, conceived as stations within a single cultural journey.
Dissuader. The Flight of the Dove from Noah's Ark to Anthropized Skies
Dedicated to Franco Perrotti, the exhibition hosted at the Waldensian Church of Courmayeur addresses the theme of the sky as a space increasingly regulated, monitored and transformed by human intervention. Through installations inspired by bird-deterrent systems, the artist reflects on the concepts of freedom, control, migration and surveillance. The flight of the dove thus becomes a metaphor for the new tensions shaping the contemporary aerial landscape.
