From Aosta to La Stella di Pila

From the heart of Aosta to 2,700 metres in just half an hour: starting in December 2025, it will be possible thanks to the opening of “La Stella di Pila”, a new panoramic experience with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa.

The new Pila–Couis gondola lift rises to 2,730 metres, offering skiers, bikers, and hikers direct access to panoramic terraces overlooking the most iconic peaks of the Western Alps.

Pila’s 2025–2026 winter season, running from December 5th to May 3rd, invites visitors to enjoy the mountain through to spring: skiing and snowboarding at high altitude, and the first bike descents as the snow gives way to warmer days.

Pila is evolving without losing its soul: a perfect bridge between the ancient history of Aosta and the natural beauty of the mountains that surround it.
