Nino Migliori. La dialettica del reale

n the year marking the centenary of Nino Migliori (Bologna, 1926), one of the leading figures of 20th-century Italian photography, an exhibition in Aosta celebrates the artist through 160 photographs that portray post-war Italy, its social changes and its contradictions. Curated by Mauro Zanchi, the exhibition brings together some of Migliori's most iconic series, from Neorealism to his later experimental works.

The exhibition is divided into four sections. The first focuses on Emilia, capturing everyday life and collective rituals. It is followed by People of the South, featuring powerful portraits of provincial life; People of the Delta, depicting communities living between water and mist; and People of the North, documenting an Italy undergoing rapid industrial and social transformation on the eve of the economic boom.
