At the foot of Mont Avic, this park is an oasis of unspoiled nature, set in a splendid pine forest, where visitors can observe animals native to the Aosta Valley in their natural habitat.
Following the circular path beginning on the left side of the park’s main entrance, visitors will encounter wild animals normally difficult to be seen close up: ibex, marmot, squirrel, fallow deer, chamois, roe deer, hare, badger, pope’s dove, eagle-owl, tawny.
The park can be visited also through a shorter and flat circuit, of easy access for everyone.
Note - this information is not directly connected to the Cammino Balteo path but it is part of the Aosta Valley tourist offer.
