Alpaca Sapé

Resort: Montjovet

Contacts

In 2003, this adventure began with just five alpacas, originally raised to help maintain the family’s land. Before long, the gentle nature and unique character of these animals won over their owners, transforming a simple farming activity into a true passion. Today, the farm is home to 15 alpacas and has become one large family where animal welfare and hospitality are at the heart of every experience.
The farm is run by Nathalie Fosson and Ornella Lezin, who take care of the alpacas every day and guide visitors in discovering these fascinating animals.
The farm is located in the hamlet of Ruelle, in the municipality of Montjovet, at around 600 metres above sea level. It enjoys a panoramic setting that is easy to reach and is only five minutes from Saint-Vincent. Thanks to the mild climate and natural surroundings, alpaca walks are available all year round.

Products

The farm offers alpaca wool yarn and handcrafted products made from this valuable natural fibre. The range also includes alpaca walks and gift vouchers for those who would like to enjoy or give a unique experience immersed in nature.
There is no shop with regular opening hours. Products can be purchased after the walks or by prior telephone appointment.

Visit

The farm can be visited only by reservation or by joining one of the alpaca walks. The experience begins with an introduction to the animals and guidance on how to interact with them properly. Participants then lead an alpaca along a route of approximately 2.5 kilometres around the farm.
During the walk, visitors can get to know the character of their alpaca, appreciate its extraordinary softness and enjoy an authentic experience in close contact with these animals.
At the end of the walk, guests can feed the alpacas, take photographs and record videos. Visitors can also browse the area dedicated to alpaca wool yarn and handcrafted products. The overall activity lasts about two hours.
Bookings can be made directly through the farm's website or by calling +39 327 9953115.
Visits are available throughout the year, with groups ranging from a minimum of two adults with alpacas to a maximum of 15 participants with alpacas.
The contact person for visits is Nathalie Fosson, owner of the farm.

Walk prices: €40 per adult with an alpaca, €15 per adult without an alpaca, free entry for children under 3 accompanied by an adult with an alpaca, €5 for children aged 3 to 5 accompanied by an adult with an alpaca, and €15 for children aged 6 to 14 with an alpaca. Children under 6 are not allowed to lead an alpaca on their own and must be accompanied by an adult.

Languages spoken: Italian and French.
