Contacts

MAV wants itself to become the heart of the traditional local handicraft, a place where to find all the characteristics of the Aosta Valley cultural heritage and the rituals belonging to its community.

The Museum is a journey through materials, traditional and aesthetic forms and lines, techniques and craft know-how, to follow in order to safeguard the regional art and identity and disclose them to the public. That’s why MAV is not a static museum where to admire handicraft works, but a communication project to the community who once conceived this objects and today has to discover them again and bring them to a new life.
