The ‘Prosciuttificio’ (dry-cured meat factory) De Bosses was born from the passion of three friends for fine meat and sausages. The three entrepreneurs joined forces with the municipality of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses to initiate a plan for developing and spreading PDO Vallée d’Aoste Jambon de Bosses: a unique, high quality product whose history dates back to 1397 and which is closely linked to the culture and popular traditions of this area of the Aosta Valley.

PDO Jambon de Bosses
Cured meat and sausages from the Aosta Valley (mocetta, lardo, coppa, pancetta, etc.)
The products are sold in the shop located at the factory’s entrance and open Mondays to Fridays.

The visit
The visit at the factory’s production and seasoning areas can be done at the cost of 5 € per person all year round upon telephone reservation.

How to get there
From Aosta follow for about 20 km the main road towards Great St. Bernard Pass (open all year round) until reaching the factory.
