Technical Information

Route

You set off from the Surrier car park, right at the end of the dam’s reservoir. From here, the dirt road stretches ahead, inviting you to enter the valley towards the Mario Bezzi Hut. After just ten minutes, you’ll find a fork on the left leading to the Chalet de l’Epée Hut but keep going straight, leaving the junction behind, until the farm road comes to an end. Here, a narrower and steeper trail begins, leading up to the hut. Even if you turn back before that, you’ll have enjoyed a walk filled with beauty: along the way, your gaze wanders over flower-filled meadows, rushing waterfalls, and sparkling streams. A place that radiates both peace and the pure energy of the mountains.
