Resorts: La Thuile
A long circular trail which includes numerous interesting landscape and natural features, including woods, waterfalls, the glacier and the lakes.
From the centre of La Thuile reach the hamlet of Buic and take the path n. 2 that goes uphill until you reach the Plan Praz plateau; at 2111 m, the path divides: take to the right the path n.15 to the Deffeyes refuge. When you reach 2520 m follow the path downhill which has a section equipped with a fixed rope and leads the path n. 3 that rises up from La Joux. In 20 minutes you can reach the Deffeyes refuge. For the return follow the path n. 3 which leads to the waterfalls. From La Joux follow the road to the first hairpin bend, then take the path AV2 to Villaret dessous and then to La Thuile.
