Gaby - Niel waterfall

Resorts: Gaby

A short but interesting itinerary to get to know the village of Gaby as well as to discover one of its most characteristic sites: the Niel waterfall.

Technical Information

Route

From the car park in front of the town hall of Gaby, near the regional road 44 of the Gressoney Valley, follow the route that runs along the Niel stream and then turn on the right just behind the town hall. Follow the road, first among the houses of the village and then among pastures and broadleaf woods, until you’ll reach the hamlet of Pianatz (where you can leave your car if you don’t want to walk along the paved road). From there, take path no. 7b on the left and follow it until you reach the waterfalls. Along the narrow path that climbs in the middle of the forest you may find some slippery sections.
