Today you can go by helicopter, because Valgrisenche is one of the few ridges in Europe where landing is possible on around ten summits that crown the valley, for heliski and off-piste enthusiasts enjoyment The valley is sparsely developed therefore is as wild and noble as a snow jaguar and in winter and the small villages seem to be shyly hiding from the skier’s sight. It is said that the crowd inevitably destroys the magnetic beauty of nature, but this is definitely not the case in Valgrisenche as in both summer and winter the plaintive beauty of landscape is like love itself: intimate and personal.
