Arbolle
Resorts: Charvensod
It is situated in the valley of the Comboé stream and was built close to the old Arbolle alpine hut and lake of the same name. It was opened in July 1998
The refuge has a large lounge bar-restaurant, bathrooms on each floor.

Aosta Est motorway exit. Carry on in the direction of Aosta on the road with heavy traffic. At the 3rd traffic light (tourist directions for Pila) turn left and go as far as the roundabout level with the motorway underpass, carry straight on towards Pollein going past the bridge and reaching a second roundabout.
Here turn right, go through Pollein and after a few kilometres you will reach another roundabout, turn left and take the road for Pila. Go past the town of Charvensod and after numerous hairpin bends after approximately 18 km you will reach Pila, a hamlet in the town of Gressan. Just before the centre of the ski resort, at the level of a large hairpin bend, turn left towards the start of the chair lift for Chamolé. Take the Chamolé chair lift then 1hr 40mins on foot or 2hrs 30 mins on foot from Pila to Col Chamolé.
Here turn right, go through Pollein and after a few kilometres you will reach another roundabout, turn left and take the road for Pila. The nearest train station is in Aosta.
It is possible to reach Pila taking the telecabin from Aosta; the departure point is close to the station.
