La Stazione dell'acqua

The recipe for our welcome is based on a few simple ingredients: nature, physical activity, attention to the territory and its culture, good conversation and stimulating readings.
“La Stazione dell’Acqua” (the Water Station) is located in a strategic position for access to two of the valleys of the Gran Paradiso National Park: the Valsavarenche and the Val di Rhêmes.
Without getting into the car it is possible to walk to discover the woods surrounding the Station. The paths intersect the ancient system of farm roads that characterize this area of the park.
Within a radius of 40/50 minutes by car, you can reach all of the most interesting destinations in the Upper Valley: Val Ferret, Val Veny, Courmayeur, La Thuile, Cogne.
Then, there are the castles: Introd, Saint Pierre and Sarriod de la Tour, Sarre, Aymavilles, Fenis and lengthening the road a bit, the magnificent Bard Fortress.
For lovers of two wheels we recommend trying a trip on our e-bikes cycling along the wide network of dirt roads that branch out around the Station
There are many other activities that we can recommend: the thermal baths of Pré Saint Didier, a climb up Mont Blanc with the SkyWay, a visit to the Parc Animalier d’Introd. And then even the rafting and adventure park in Villeneuve.
In winter, cross-country skiing is the activity that best suits our guests, but also downhill ski slopes are not far away, for example Pila. An oasis for the family is the renewed facility that also has a snow park in Rhêmes Notre Dame.
And if you simply need to rest, you can even stay in the garden sunbathing, read a book comfortably in an armchair in the lounge, have a relaxing sauna.
