Les Granges

Our farm takes its name from the village of the same name located on the hill of Nus, in adrèt, the sunny side of Valle d’Aosta. Our family tries to be mostly self-sufficient, growing by tradition grapes, cereals and vegetables between the villages of Les Granges and Lignan, in the Saint-Barthélemy valley.
We are all-round farmers, and it is precisely in such a broad scenario that each of us finds his/her own freedom of expression, taking care of the tasks that suit him/her best. As it is typical in Valle d’Aosta, our plots of land are small, of which three hectares are cultivated in vineyards and one in mixed agriculture … The right size to take care of, love and get to know the characteristics of each soil at its best. We cultivate with full respect of nature; ours is manual and natural agriculture. According to our feeling, since 2012 we have been practicing biodynamics, which with preparations aims at keeping plants healthy, only by developing the soil fertility of the soil. The facility, built entirely via green building with the use of natural materials, houses five rooms; we also have a restaurant room with twenty-five seats available and a panoramic view of Fénis castle. Upon reservation we organize tastings and dinners, prepared with vegetables and cereals from our gardens.
