Bierfest - Beer festival in Gressoney

Resorts: Gressoney-Saint-Jean

Car park “Weissmatten”

20 June 2024 - 24 June 2024

Contacts

The Bierfest is ready to return in Gressoney-Saint-Jean for four days dedicated to the famous Kühbacher Bier, produced in the brewery owned by Baron Beck Peccoz, born in Gressoney but emigrated many years ago in Kühbach, Germany.
The festival was born at the beginning of the 1980s as a simple village festival, but its fame has now spread to the neighbouring valleys and to the rest of the region, Piedmont and northern Italy.
The feast takes place in a large pavilion on the Weissmatten square, near the chairlift of the same name. The approximately 15.000 litres of beer arrive in Gressoney-Saint-Jean in a single large cask, in order to keep intact all the precious characteristics that make it so appreciated and unique, uncorked during the first day, when the celebrations kick off.

NOT ONLY BEER: 4 DAYS DEDICATED TO FOOD AND WINE, MUSIC AND DANCING

It will not be an event dedicated only to beer, as a matter of fact during the evenings at the pavilion good food will also find space and an accurate catering service will be organized with dishes prepared on-site. The dinners will also be enlivened by typical Bavarian Oktoberfest songs, folk music, but also by classics and international music hits. Come and have fun in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, you won’t regret it!
