The celebrations for the 30th edition of Celtica Valle d’Aosta officially begin in the heart of the regional capital with a special preview event, before moving to the larch woods of the Peuterey forest.
The opening event takes place in the evocative Collegiate Church of Sant’Orso in Aosta, featuring a special concert with free admission until seating capacity is reached.
The protagonists of this opening are two true pillars of traditional music: the renowned harpist Vincenzo Zitello, a pioneer of the Celtic harp in Italy, and the virtuoso violinist Fulvio Renzi.
Set in the magnificent surroundings of one of the region’s oldest monumental complexes, their artistic partnership brings to life an emotional journey into the bardic soul, intertwining the city’s thousand-year history with the poetic sounds that have defined the festival’s identity for the past thirty years.
