Contacts

The Fort of Bard dedicates an important exhibition project to the Colombian painter, sculptor, and draftsman Fernando Botero (1932–2023), in collaboration with 24 Ore Cultura and the Fernando Botero Foundation. Curated by Cecilia Braschi, the exhibition retraces the artist’s entire career.

Discover Fernando Botero’s creative universe in a unique journey celebrating his monumental art. Over 100 works, divided into seven thematic sections, narrate the Colombian master’s career: from still lifes to nudes, from portraits to scenes of everyday life, as well as dialogues with art history and social denunciations.

Botero, famous for his full and exuberant forms, explored various techniques - painting, drawing, sculpture - transforming every subject into a work of great expressive power. The exhibition invites you to experience this quest for volumes and chromatic harmonies, among paintings, frescoes, bronzes, and marbles.

An inclusive experience: a dedicated tactile path allows visitors to approach art through the sense of touch, making the visit even more engaging.
Official catalog published by 24 Ore Cultura.
