For several years the municipalities of Issogne, Verrès and Challand-Saint-Victor have been organizing the medieval festival Middle Ages in the land of the Challants.
Also this year Challand-St-Victor will host the medieval historical reenactment with duels, flag-wavers and equestrian shows.

- 3.00 pm Departure of trails 11 (ChalLandArt) and 2 (Castello di Villa) of the Natural Reserve of Lake Villa.
Meeting of the Historical Groups and parade up to the lawn adjacent to the new rest area of the Lake Villa Nature Reserve (Château locality).
- 3.15 pm Grass ground adjacent to the new parking area of the Lake Villa Nature Reserve (Château locality).
Catherine de Challant, Pierre d’Introd, the Popolani di Challand-St-Victor and all the historical groups attend the equestrian show “The Joust of the Knights of the Green Count” and the show of the flag-wavers and musicians “Borgo San Martino” from Saluzzo and from Grugliasco.
- 4.00 pm Departure of the historical procession in parade towards the hamlet of Ville.
- 5.00 pm The historical procession reaches the “Bruno Joly” square in the Ville hamlet adjacent to the green area below the Town Hall.
Where musicians and flag wavers will perform again and medieval crafts and games will be present in the green area.
- 6.00 pm Piazzetta of the Maison des Bon sentiments in the hamlet of Ville.
Municipal Administration say thanks to the participating historical groups and Round Table by Ezia Bovo, Laurent Sarteur and the Conte Verde entitled: The Challants make the “accounts” with the Savoy.
- From 18.30 Piazzale “Bruno Joly” Street Food open to all.

Participating medieval groups: Le Carnaval Historique de Verrès with Catherine de Challant and Pierre d’Introd, Des Enfants autour du Château d’Issogne, Le Cors dou Heralt de Fénis, the Green Count of Leinì with his horses, greyhounds and falconers, The flag-wavers and musicians Borgo San Martino di Saluzzo, the flag-wavers and musicians of the city of Grugliasco, the Counts of Châtillon, Count Tommaso I and Caterina di Chenal, the Confrérie de Saint Ours and other medieval representations.
