An immersive 360-degree show of lights and sounds in the large Piazza d’Armi of the Fort of Bard.
A sparkling atmosphere descends upon the square to celebrate the magic of the Christmas season with special video mapping effects projected onto the façades, in a new installation inspired by Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann’s famous tale, The Nutcracker.
Children and adults alike will be immersed in an enchanted world, on an emotional journey accompanied by Čajkovskij’s unforgettable music.

Opening hours of the Fortress
From December 26, 2025 to January 6, 2026 the Fort is open every day, including Mondays, from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Exceptions: December 31 (10.00 a.m.–6.00 p.m.); January 1 (2.00 p.m.–8.00 p.m.).
Closed on December 25.
Access to the shows is included with any ticket to visit one of the Fort’s exhibitions or museums.
Projections will not take place on December 15, 22 and 25.
- The projections start at 5.30 p.m. and continue until the Fort’s closing time.
- Access to the projections is included in the entrance ticket to the Fort of Bard.
- No reservation is required.
