The streets of the village of Donnas come alive with a lively market-exhibition showcasing agri-food products, nursery plants and poultry breeds.

The event offers educational activities on how to care for a vegetable garden and chicken coop, along with tastings, visits to eco-museums and opportunities to explore the surrounding area. A perfect occasion to experience the countryside, meet local producers and be inspired by the rural charm of the Aosta Valley.

Take advantage of the event to also visit:

  • the ancient dairy - ecomuseum of Tréby (2:00 pm - 5:30 pm)
  • the ecomuseum of vines and wine (9:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Also scheduled are initiatives connected to the nearby Fort of Bard.

From 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM:
• Information point by the Regional Tourist Office
• Refreshments stand organized by the Donnas Pro Loco
Slow Food Aosta: also present are the Slow Food presidia of the white hen of Saluzzo and the red celery of Orbassano.

Informational activities and free workshops for children and families:
From egg to chick: how an incubator works and presentation of chicks recently hatched at the farm. Organized by the Ollignan System Foundation.
Recognizing tree species: learn to distinguish wild and cultivated plants of the Aosta Valley. Organized by the Institut Agricole Régional.
The vegetable garden as a circular system: propagate a plant and take care of it by transforming garden waste into food for poultry. Organized by the Regional Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the Demonstrative and Experimental Agricultural Center of Saint-Marcel.
Discovering the Food Chain: a reading corner with short stories and small activities to explore the food supply chain. Organized by GAL Valle d’Aosta.
Getting to Know Dogs: free activity for children and youth. Organized by the association Come una piuma.

From 11:00 AM to 6:00 PMFree shuttle service Fort of Bard/Lo Courtì and return, with a stop at the Ex Antiche Industrie parking area

11:00 AM and 2:00 PM – Free guided tour: "Walking towards Lou Courtì"
A guided walk with local tour guides exploring the area between the Fort of Bard and Donnas. The route includes insights into the history of the Fort and the Bard village, ending at the Roman arch on the Via delle Gallie, where the history of Donnas will be explained.
