Since 1962, the "Carnevale dei Piccoli" (children carnival) has brought joy and community spirit to Saint-Vincent. About a month before the event, elementary school teachers guide children through the process of electing the "Little Mayor" and their entourage. Fifth-grade students can run for symbolic roles such as Mayor, Master of Ceremonies, Councillors, Chief of Police, Police Officers, Fire Chief, Firefighters, Doctor, Red Cross Nurses, Nurses and Sutler.
The Sunday parade, the highlight of the Carnival, features folk groups, marching bands, and floats inspired by the world of children.
What to Expect:
- Inauguration of the Little Mayor
- Balloon release
- Grand float parade
- Polenta and sausages (Shrove Tuesday)

Sunday 4th February:
- 2.00pm meeting place in Monte Cervino square
- 2.30pm starting of parade along the streets of the centre, until Piazza Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto
Following investiture of the Little Mayor, reading of the proclamation and launch of the BIO balloons.
At the end of the event, a refreshments will be held at the Palais with the distribution of "lies" - traditional Carnival dessert - reserved exclusively for those taken part to the parade.
