The refuge can be reached in about 2 hours on foot from the village of Usselières. The trail runs through alpine pastures between streams and waterfalls without any particular difficulty.
The restaurant offers simple, typical dishes from the Aosta Valley, carefully prepared according to family recipes.
There are routes of varying lengths and difficulty starting from the refuge, from mountaineering trails to ‘digestive’ walks.
